The vineyards
Scenic and quiet
Mailberg (200 m) is loacted in its small valley. The location of the vineyards, spread out on the slopes of the Buchberges (416m), allows an excellent protection against the harsh north winds, while from early morning to late evening the sun rays are flowing into unhindered, thus creating the climate required for an excellent ripening of the grapes.
The soils are very limy, covered with loamy sands and loess, and contribute to the individuality of our wines.

The vineyards are handled with a lot of love and ecological and natural principles, a targeted short pruning of vines and a careful canopy management of the greenery are the guarantee for healthy and mature grapes.
